School Groups:
Moonraker Dolphin Swims offers a range of activities specifically designed for school groups and educational groups. With a vast range of in-water snorkel and swim activities as well as a range of boat based sightseeing activities.

Students engage with qualified instructors and snorkel guides to learn about our diverse ecosystem here in Port Phillip Bay. With activities from guided Marine Park Snorkel Tours, Dolphin and Seal Swim activities including a wide range of coastal cruises visiting Port Phillip Bays Marine and Coastal Marine Parks, also offering insight into our colonial history on early settlement and quarantining measures conducted here in Southern Port Phillip Bay.

This journey can be designed to suit a variety of needs: from class excursions to school camps, personal development for students to professional development for teachers. Students and teachers alike will have the opportunity to explore the wonders of Port Phillip Bay, in a fun and safe environment.
Swim with the Seals and Dolphins tour:
Duration:2 or 3 hour activities
Tour:Our Dolphin Swim tour consists of three snorkeling activities - all of which are lead by qualified Snorkel Instructors.

Students are introduced to the water after a safety briefing by one of our qualified instructors. Students are then taught safe snorkeling practices whilst snorkelling with the Australian Fur Seals at Chinaman’s Hat, a local haul out sight for these very friendly Fur Seals. From here on we visit Pope’s Eye, where in the sheltered environment students can take a close look at this man made Marine Park teaming with colorful fish and a variety of unique marine life. From here on students are encouraged to assist the instructors to help locate the Dolphins. Once located we commence our Dolphin Swim activities, offering students this amazing activity in small groups lead by qualified guides.
Students are provided with all the necessary snorkelling equipment, including change and shower facilities.
During the cruise our instructors and guides educate students on the locations visited providing a detailed commentary, which students are encouraged to build their knowledge and awareness of our unique marine eco system.

Snorkel Popes Eye and with the Australian Fur Seals.

This fabulous tour is designed to offer students a fun and active two hours. After a detailed safety briefing students are introduced to the water at Pope’s Eye, where they are taught safe snorkeling practices in this sheltered environment.

Popes Eye Marine Park provides students with the opportunity to learn about our Marine Parks here in Port Phillip Bay. By providing them with the opportunity to snorkel around Victoria's oldest marine park to view the array of friendly colorful fish, brightly colored sea stars and the occasional friendly stingray. We include visiting the Australasian Gannets and various other sea birds colonising at the park.
From Popes Eye we cruise to Chinaman’s Hat where students are then introduced to a population of young Australian Fur Seals. Student can swim amongst the very friendly and sometime cheeky fur seals in small guided groups.
This tour includes guided snorkeling groups around the park, all snorkeling equiptment and on board shower and change facilities.

BOAT BASED SIGHTSEEING:
Marine Watch Wildlife Cruise
Duration:1 hour
Includes:Enjoy an exciting educational cruise on Port Philip Bay. This cruise takes in the sights of Port Phillip Bays Fur Seal Colony, Ticonderoga Bay Dolphin Sanctuary and the coastal Marine Parks.
Educational commentaries are provided at each location, giving students the opportunity to learn about our diverse and very unique eco system.

Cruising through the protected waters of the Ticonderoga Bay Dolphin Sanctuary and visit the Australian Fur Seals to take a close up look into their every day life is an experience that not only delights but educates students on both environmental understanding and care. This cruise also visits a variety of Marine Parks concentrating on the marine wildlife found in these waters and also the important colonial history of our area.
Student will also have the opportunity to view the Australasian Gannets and a variety of other sea birds colonising around our area.
